Who are we?
North Professional Hair is a tape extension brand built by industry professionals, for industry professionals. We pride ourselves on our diligence to knowledge, expertise and quality - ensuring North clients have the best hair extensions on the market.
Charlotte Quinn and Gary Howe founded North Professional Hair in March 2020, to build a reliable, transparent and respectable tape hair extension brand, exclusively for professionals.
Charlotte, with over 10 years experience as a salon owner and tape hair extension specialist, provides invaluable insight into the salon industry. Her experience enables North to maintain a salon-focused approach, ensuring quality and trendability. Charlotte is also an educator, who trains stylists exclusively with North products.
Gary has endless business expertise, with clear focus in the hair extension industry, and has developed a strong understanding of first-class logistics and reputable manufacturer relationships. This helps ensure North only sells the best quality products for your hair.

Premium
Our premium hair standard ensures that all the human hair tape extensions we offer are of the highest quality.
Natural
Our human hair tape extensions are designed to be virtually invisible when applied, with realistic, lived-in colours that blend seamlessly with the natural hair.
Low Maintenance
Our human hair tape extensions are low maintenance with a quick fitting time, making them the most versatile solution for salons and clients.
All of our tape extensions are double-drawn 100% Remy human hair, meaning that the hair is the same thickness from root to tip with a closed cuticle - sourced from villages in the southwest of China.
It is one of our missions to support the people of these villages as much as we can, who take the utmost pride in selling their hair and are deserving of the benefits it brings to both them and their communities.
Our hair is produced using only the healthiest, highest-grade hair - helping us supply you with the ultimate premium product. We also use the highest grade ‘heat free’ medical-grade tape adhesives, which are rigorously tested in the UK (adding to our commitment as a UK-based brand).
Here at North Professional Hair, we have created three different types of tape hair extensions, to help you achieve your dream hair look!
Original Tapes
North Original Tapes are one of the most popular and affordable options for tape hair extensions, here at North. They are also our most versatile tape, with the largest shade range to match any hair colour or goal. Originals are made with a translucent adhesive, which allows the tape to blend and sit comfortably with your natural hair.
Invisible Tapes
North Invisible Tapes were designed to be virtually invisible when installed. The specialised attachment creates an almost invisible seam, blending effortlessly into your natural hair and re-growth. Invisible tapes create the illusion that the extension is growing directly from your scalp, resulting in a more natural-looking and realistic finish.
Invisible Root Glaze Tapes
North Invisible Root Glaze Tapes use the same specialised attachment as the Invisible Tapes, but are made with a bespoke coloured root created by technical colour experts to look like your natural hair. The coloured root helps the tapes blend seamlessly into your hair, creating the illusion of thicker and healthier hair.
